Fats

The good fats that you should be focusing on are Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated fats. Do decrease Saturated fasts and avoid Trans fats if possible. Canola, peanut and olive oil are all primary sources of polyunsaturated fats. You can also get it from nuts such as almonds, hazel and peans and seeds such as pumpkin and sesame.

Other sources of polyunsaturated fats are sunflower, corn, soybean, and flaxseed oils, and walnuts. However, do note that, these oils can become unhealthy when heated. This is due to the formation of free radicals that can lead to disease.
